The World UAV Federation – Pakistan Chapter (WUAV-PK) is setting the stage for Pakistan to emerge as a strategic hub in the global low-altitude economy. With strong linkages to China, Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and leading international UAV associations, WUAV-PK is bridging global partnerships to advance UAV legislation, technical standards, R&D, and commercialization.

The Federation aims to harmonize Pakistan’s UAV sector with global standards like ICAO, EASA, CAAC, and FAA, ensuring a robust regulatory framework. Its vision includes fostering joint research labs with universities worldwide, building UAV pilot licensing systems, and establishing international trade fairs to connect global OEMs with local operators.

By 2030, Pakistan is expected to host advanced UAM corridors, global UAV sandbox zones, and manufacturing facilities in economic zones. With UAV adoption projected to grow to a USD 90B market globally, Pakistan’s share could rise to USD 2–3B through agriculture, logistics, smart cities, and export services.
